When Deirdre and Brodie booked a family session with me, we selected this location for its open field and distant mountain views, but upon arrival, we discovered the opposite of what we had expected.
As we drove toward the location, light drizzle began to fall. Since we were already halfway there and the drive had taken 45 minutes, we decided to proceed with our session despite the rain.
When we arrived, I worried that Deirdre and Brodie might be disappointed by the disappearing mountain view. But as the deep fog rolled in, creating a moody yet inviting warm atmosphere, we found ourselves more excited than we had anticipated!
Now I crave to do another session like this again!
I just love the dramatic natural feel it brings to photos. If you see rain on the forecast of your scheduled session, you never know, it may be the next best thing!
